STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN WORLD CUP 2026
Specific Origin Show Affiliated to ECAHO
DATE: October 10–11, 2026
LOCATION: Vermezzo, Milan (Italy)
1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
– Only horses registered in a WAHO-recognized studbook are allowed.
– Horses must be Straight Egyptian as defined by the show schedule.
– All horses must arrive at least 1 hour before their class starts.
– A valid passport with vaccinations must be submitted with the entry form.
2. CLASSES
– Foal Fillies & Foal Colts (at foot, from 4 weeks to 6 months)
– Yearling Classes (1 year) – Fillies & Colts
– Junior Classes (2–3 years) – Females & Males
– Senior Classes (4+ years) – Females & Males
– Classes may be split (A/B) if there are more than 8 horses.
3. JUDGING SYSTEM
– 5 criteria: Type, Head & Neck, Body, Legs, Movement
– Each scored from 1 to 20 (half-points allowed)
– Head & Neck and Movement = average of subcriteria
4. CHAMPIONSHIPS
– Championships: Yearling, Junior, Senior (M/F)
– Gold, Silver, Bronze for each category
– ECAHO method: judges vote (Gold = 4 pt, Silver = 2 pt, Bronze = 1 pt)
– Attendance at awards ceremony is mandatory
5. SPECIAL AWARDS
– Best in Show (M & F) – from Gold Champions
– Best Head – highest Head & Neck score
– Best Movement – top movement score
– Best European Horse – born and bred in Europe
6. JUDGES & DC
– At least 1 judge from EAHSC A or B list
– Non-EAHSC judges require a validated contract
– Disciplinary Committee (DC) must include 2 members, including 1 veterinarian
7. VETERINARY
– Valid influenza vaccination required
– Anti-doping tests at the DC’s discretion
8. SANCTIONS
– Overqualified horses (e.g., past World/Title/A/GCAT winners): €600 fine + disqualification
– Missing award ceremony without vet reason = disqualification
9. GENERAL INFORMATION

– ECAHO regulation QR Code included in the catalogue
